Administration Division
 
The Admin Division of the Office of the JS (T) & CAO is looking after the administration of approximately 1,800 Gazetted Officers and 7,500 Non-Gazetted employees working in Army HQrs and Inter Service Organisations (ISOs).
   
It is headed by the Dy. Chief Administrative Officer (A) and comprising of 13 Admin sections and a Grievances Cell, which are supervised by 6 Senior Admin Officers (SAOs), who are also acting as Drawing and Disbursement Officers (DDOs).
   
 

The following are salient aspects of administration that are being looked after by the Admin Division in respect of both Gazetted Officers and Non-Gazetted employees :-

Maintenance of Service Records.
Pay distribution and all aspects pertaining to Pay & Allowances.
Grant of GPF Advances/Withdrawals.
Grant of all types of Leaves.
Sanction of Car/Scooter/PC/Cycle/Festival advances.
Grant of Pensionary awards to retiring employees through Single Window Clearance system.
Processing of Medical Claims.
Verification of Income Tax statements and Recovery of Income Tax.
Issuing of Daily Order Part-III for Gazetted officers and Part-II for Non-gazetted employees regarding the events for entry in the Service Book.
