Single Window Clearance System for Retiring Employees

Single Window clearance Systemwas introduced in January, 1985 in consonance with the Prime Minister’s directive for the retiring civilian employees of Armed Forces Headquarters for final settlement of their dues. The primary objective of the Single Window Clearance Scheme is that the employees would not have to contact multiple agencies involved in settlement of their dues, but instead, the payments would be effected to them on a pre-determined date, by the 5 th working day of following month in which the employee retire. All pension related activities of concerned employees commence one year in advance to their retirement and all the requisite formalities are completed well before their date of retirement.

This Department has been following the above guidelines since the inception of this Single Window Clearance System. The various dues that are paid under this system on 05 th working day of following month in which the employee retire, are as under :-
